Ermox pump-action shotguns have proven themselves in some of the most extreme conditions on Earth. Also called slide-action shotguns, they feature a mechanical action connected to a sliding grip under the barrel. After each shot, the pump is pulled back and then pushed forward to eject the spent cartridge and chamber a new one. With the TAC-4, the safety is disengaged efficiently, without the finger on the trigger having to move anywhere other than between the receiver and the trigger. The only delay is the time needed to bring the shotgun into aiming position and focus on the sight.
